Hall of Fame – Let’s Tell Our Story

In celebration of St. Mary’s School 100 year anniversary we are thinking about renovating our trophy area  into a “St. Mary Hall of Pride” to honor our past students, teachers and staff for their accomplishments; academically, athletically, artistically and spiritually. 

We need your input to help us with this process of what we hope will lead to a professionally looking and successful hall of pride in our school and will serve as a show case for years to come.   We will need YOUR input, so that we can tell our story, timeline the history, and create a truly memorable experience. 

What we need from you, is some “sharing” of information:

·         Identify the graduates of St. Mary’s that have joined the religious life.

·         Identify graduates that have served in the military.

·         Identify individual student’s and year that you or your child has took part in All-State Speech, state athletics (team or individual and identify sport).   

·         Artifacts that could be used in the display.  (Please e-mail photos of the artifacts or memorabilia-specifying the size of the item.)

·         Powerful, eye-catching photos or graphics. (Please scan the photo(s) or graphics and email.)

·         Post-graduation accomplishments.  (Made a difference in Storm Lake, the state, the nation.   Invented something that has made an impact.  Played professional sports.   war hero, etc.)

·         Share what you feel are the historical moments for our school.

Our school has a story to tell and this will take a collaborative effort with the hopes that it will provide an ‘experience’ that will inform, entertain and will make our visitors leave with a lasting impression of our school and team spirit, and a deep appreciation for all of the past accomplishments by students and staff who have walked the halls of St. Mary’s School.
