Christy Martin is the most corrupt student body president Pressley High School has ever had!  No, Christy Martin is an angel who has brought only sunshine and happiness to Pressley High School!  Well, which is it?  The news organizations are warring, the students are divided, and the news is broken. Olivia St. John, reporter for the school newspaper is out to uncover the truth, whatever that may be.  Can she break the story and put the school back together?  "Breaking the News" by Don Zolidis is an over-the-top comedy making fun of reporters, news stories, and high school!  Come watch the St. Mary's High School Drama Department's fall production to discover if anything is real and reliable, November 15 & 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.

Middle and High School students are encouraged to try out for the school plays.  St. Mary's School Drama Department holds two performances each year, a high school play in the fall and a middle school play in the spring.  This extra-curricular activity is a wonderful way to build ones's self-esteem & confidence.  Students learn skills of listening, communicating verbally & non-verbally, memorizing, improvising, and so much more.  Stage crew helpers are also an important part of the production which offers opportunities to use other skills and talents.  Ms. Schwery is the MS and HS Play Director.  She may be contacted at mschery@stmarys-storm.pvt.k12.ia.us
