The rep for Northwestern College will be here on Tuesday (10/19) to meet with juniors and seniors at 10:30AM.  See Mrs. Anderson for a pass if you are interested.


Juniors and seniors, spring classes through Iowa Central are now open for registration, see Mrs. Anderson if you need to be registered.


Friday 10/15 Homeroom location switch - Mr. Weber’s to Room 21 and Dr. Larson’s to Room 13.


Today ends Hispanic Heritage Month so this is our last fact. Las Posadas is a Mexican Christmas tradition that celebrates Mary and Joseph’s journey and search for shelter in Bethlehem.


Good luck to our football players in their last home game of the season. They will take on Webster City this evening.


Any boys interested in swimming during the winter season please see Mr. Ryan today.


There will be a HS boys basketball meeting Monday, October 18 right after school.


HS Quiz Bowl Team members traveling to Bishop Garrigan on Saturday please meet at the school vans by 7:00 am. See the HS Quiz Bowl Google Classroom site for an announcement with additional details.

Thursday, Jan. 18 - Homeroom seniors will have Lip Sync practice on the stage during homeroom from 10:33 – 11:05.
 
Thursday, Jan. 18 - 6th hour freshman will have Lip sync practice during SH in Mr. Berg’s room on THURSDAY!
        
Monday, Jan 22 - Junior prom committee meeting on Monday during homeroom.
 
Monday, Jan. 22 - Can Drive Competition – Character Council will be rewarding the winning class in preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school for the amount of food they collect and donate.  Teachers will send a count of items to Mrs. Strom each Monday and Character Council will come and collect items on Wednesday mornings at 8:00
Monday, Jan. 22nd at 9:00 a.m. there will be a representative here from Iowa Central.  I would highly suggest those who have applied, visit with him and ask Financial Aid questions.  For juniors, this is also an opportunity to start your inquiries to colleges. 
 
Feb. 1st, 7:30 am HS Boys/Girls track meeting in the gym.  See Mr. Varner if you have questions.

Today is the last day for grades 6-12 to purchase St. Valentine treats.  Support the freshman class and show someone you care. Cost is $2 and orders can be given to the school office or Mrs. Swanson until the end of the day.


Freshman, Mrs. Swanson still needs volunteers to help pack and deliver St. Valentine treats from 3:30-5:00pm on Wednesday (February 12th).  Meet Mrs. Swanson in Room 12 to help.


High school students, Mrs. Swanson is in need of 4 high school volunteers to help with kindergarten round-up on Tuesday, March 3rd from 6-7:15pm in the Parish Center.  You will be working with preschool students. Please contact Mrs. Swanson if you are willing to help. This can count as service hours.


Ms. Treadwell’s Intro to Ag class will return to Room 27 starting today. 


Good luck to our girls and boys basketball teams tonight as they take on Ridge View and we celebrate Parents Night. Parents will be recognized between games. If you are a High School basketball player, dancer, cheerleader or manager, be sure to find Mr. Schwing today so that he may give you thank you cards to hand out to your parents or grandparents tonight.. These must be turned in by the end of the day. If you didn’t get those items from him on Friday, go see him today as soon as possible. 

With it being parents night, be sure to invite your parents, grandparents, and all other family members to attend and be recognized. There are no JV games tonight. Varsity girls will start at 6:00 and varsity boys will follow. 


The Panther Store will be making its final appearances this week at our home games on Monday and Friday. This will be the last opportunity to purchase Panther gear for the year. Be sure to spread the word and consider adding to your Panther Pride Wardrobe. 


Have you gotten your 2020 Yearbook ordered? If not, February is a great time to place your order. Students and staff who order a 2020 Yearbook this month will have their names put into a drawing for a prize! Place your order soon - See Mrs. Schultz for an order form or pick one up in the office. In addition, students and staff who have placed an order for a 2020 Yearbook will be awarded an additional out of uniform day in March (specific date to be announced later).


6th grade students please go to your normal homerooms today.
