BUENA VISTA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE
This scholarship is for graduating seniors within a 40 mile radius of BVRMC pursuing a health related field of educational study (nursing, radiology, physical therapy, paramedic, and other careers in the medical field). The scholarship is not needs based and will be awarded in the amount of $1000 upon completion of the first 2023 academic semester. Please see Mrs. Friedrichsen for exact guidelines and copy of application. Applicants will need to submit an application and letter of reference to BVRMC by March 31st. Applicants will be reviewed and notified recipients in April.
Schramm Scholarship
$3000 Scholarship Opportunity - Applications are in Mrs. Friedrichsen's Office.
Students; are to write a short autobiography (1,000 words or less), including information about their family, work experience, and community involvement.
Criteria:
1. Active Member of the Catholic Church
2. Student to have a 3.0 or above GPA
3.) Student planning to attend a community college, technical school, college/university, or seminary.

Pomegranate Masonic Lodge No. 408

The Pomegranate Lodge Scholarship will award a $250.00 scholarship to either a St. Mary's or Storm Lake Public student. Applications include a summary of school activities, community involvement, three references other than family or teachers (addresses and phone numbers needed), and the reason for completing the application. Harold Salton Scholarships
Due March 6, 2023
There are two; $500.00 Harold Salton Scholarships that will be awarded to students from area schools with a Masonic connection. If none apply, the award, will be given to other students; that apply. The student applying; should give a summary of community involvement, an explanation of a masonic connection to direct lineage (if there is one), provide three references other than family or teachers (addresses and phone numbers needed), and a reason for completing the application. Northwest Iowa Law Enforcement Scholarship
We are rewarding recipients with $500 scholarships for those entering the field of law enforcement. In your application, please include a 500-word essay about how law enforcement officials can change a community and any personal experiences with interaction with law enforcement. Ivan F. and Delores M. Hunter Endowment Fund Scholarship
All high school seniors in school districts of the following counties: Buena Vista, Calhoun, Greene, Hamilton, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Sac, Webster, and Wright, and those centering their education on agriculture, soil conservation, and or environmental studies, are invited to apply for one of three $500.00 scholarships from the Ivan F. and Deloris M.
